It's been a busy month as we wrap up 2023 in style!
The month kicked off with the Emerald Cup Harvest Ball 20th Anniversary celebration at its original home, the renowned AREA 101 here in our town of Laytonville in Mendocino County. This special event was a true gathering of the tribe as many OGs came together to share stories, laughter, lots of joints and great dancing.

We were honored to receive an award from Emerald Cup founder, Tim Blake, for our twenty years of continued judging for The Cup - the only Judges to make it all the way from the start. Gee, how many joints does that add up to that we have sampled? Several thousand!

|
|
Mid-month brought the 5th Round of Club Swami deliveries and events. The northern California event was held at Club member Heidi Groshell's lovely home nestled in a eucalyptus forest in San Francisco.

|
|
The next day we were off to Los Angeles for the gathering there at the home and garden of member Colleen King, which was festively decorated for the holidays and even featured hot chocolate on a cool evening. Quite a tight community is forming from these sweet events where we sample the new cultivars (this round was the very popular and super stoney LSD), enjoy snacks and good cheer.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, winter is here and the climate is gracing us with a good balance of rainy and sunny days.

|
Mushrooms are sprouting everywhere, Tipu is loving long walks on crisp days, and misty mornings are magical.
|
|
|
|
Christmas was a cozy and quiet day, cuddled with the dog and cat by the woodstove, counting our many blessings. As we merge into the new year, we pray for good health and happiness, prosperity and peace, for all of our world citizens. May the cannabis vibe spread to those who have no good weed to enjoy, as we all know getting high only encourages Peace of mind, body and spirit. May 2024 bring blessings for all!
