February always starts with a bang as it is Nikki's birthday on the First and here's a Fun Fact: Did you know that Nikki is born the same day as her father and one of her sisters (who is not her twin)? It's a popular day!

While it has been a warm winter so far, most of the time is still spent staying cozy in front of the wood stove. On sunny days, we take walks around the land, checking to see how much rain has fallen and how it has affected the roads, the creeks, and the lake. It is a glorious time of year, with the constant sounds of the rushing waters and wind in the trees highlighted by birdsong and occasional coyote howls.

We ventured out only a bit this past month, to visit our friends at 7 Stars Dispensary in Richmond as they celebrated their 15th Anniversary. For any sort of cannabis venture to last that long means they are really doing things right! It's a challenging business for sure, but when stores get the correct balance of great product variety, informative budtenders, central location and a general positive vibration, it works!

Snow is predicted this coming weekend, so we are busy battening down the hatches, getting wood inside, stocking up on food, etc. But also praying that there is not as much snow as last year when we were snowed in for 31 days. We have to get to Barcelona on the 10th of March for the International Cannabis Awards and Spannabis!

If you are in Barcelona in March, keep your eyes peeled and you might spot Swami!

May your season be blessed with good bud shared with special friends in warm places. The first signs of spring are already shooting up but let us not forget the wonders of this winter season.

Peace and love to you all,
