It's been a month devoted to healing and harmony, as spring has enveloped our ranch with wildflowers and sunshine.

Swami had an operation for his back pain (a loose fragment floating around in there was removed) on the last day of March, so throughout April he has been faithfully taking his Harry Rose cannabis tinctures from SolFul to help nerve healing as well as ease away any pain. He never even touched the heavy meds the docs gave him - and he's now doing just fine!

Our forest also had a healing treatment, when the local fire brigade came in to cut back and burn much of the overgrowth around the house to prevent future forest fires. This is a great service the County offers Seniors like us - it looks like a national park out there now. Lots of end of winter chores have been going on around here as we prepare for the hot and dry summer ahead.

Meanwhile, the Mendo Cup preparations have been in full swing! Mid-month we accepted samples from local licensed farmers who have entered the competition, and everything looks super tasty. Our esteemed judges are going to have a tough time finding the best of this excellent lot of sun grown flowers from Mendocino. Expect a full report very soon on the Mendo Cup, happening Sunday, May 3rd in Willits. Whenever our cannabis community gathers you know it will be a good time.

Time is flying by - it seems like winter was yesterday. As we age, and watch some of our dearly beloveds leave their bodies, we learn to cherish each precious moment more than ever. With fresh eyes, we watch the colors of nature turn with the seasons, the creeks fill and recede, our wrinkles grow a little bit deeper. As William Shakespeare said, "With Mirth and Laughter let old wrinkles come."

Be in the present and remember to love and laugh.

We Love You All.
