The first weeks of January are all viewed through a wet lens - the rain did not stop! The historic drought which has dominated our area for years was replaced by historic rains, or "atmospheric rivers" as they are now called. The skies opened up, thunder and lightning completed the show, and we could actually watch the meadow turn greener every day. The lake is full again and ready to provide irrigation for our crops next year and the creeks are wildly rushing!

All that wet weather meant cozy days inside near the woodstove, cuddled with Tipu and making plans for the next season. That's what farmers do in the winter. During the "High-bernation" time of year, we are busy preparing new ways to get Swami Select flowers to you.

After a wonderful in-store educational experience with the compassionate crew over at 7 Stars in Richmond at the end of this month, we look ahead to many more in-store demos across the state in February, including A Therapeutic Alternative in Sacramento, LAPCG in West Hollywood, and Sespe Creek in Ojai.

We truly are passionate about sharing knowledge about the benefits of regeneratively-grown cannabis cultivated in full sun and enjoy nothing more than being out in public to talk about it. (Reminder: This only applies to the 2022-23 harvest. Swami prefers his cannabis 'aged', and you may be fortunate to find some of the 2021-22 harvest still making its way to store shelves, so keep your eyes peeled for the difference.)
